The beauty of release, the pull toward reflection, and the intuitive themes Becca is sensing for the month ahead.

To our fellow autumn lovers: there is something undeniably magical about October.

Maybe it’s the earlier sunsets, the return of sweaters and warm drinks, or the trees here on the East Coast exchanging their summer greens for amber, russet, and gold. But the change can feel deeper than what we see outside. Sometimes we sense that something is shifting before we can explain why.

The energy of October 2026 brings familiar themes of balance, release, intuition, and transition, along with some impressions Becca has been receiving that feel specific to this particular October. We’ll share both: the seasonal reflections we return to each autumn and the intuitive themes coming through for this particular month.

A Season Between

October feels like a threshold. Summer’s outward energy has passed, but winter’s quiet has not quite arrived. We are somewhere in between.

This is also the time of year when many people talk about “the thinning of the veil,” a phrase associated with the belief that the spiritual world may feel closer or easier to perceive.

Whether or not that idea is part of your own practice, autumn can be a natural time to pay closer attention to dreams, memories, intuition, and the feelings that surface when life becomes a little quieter.

You may feel drawn to journal, meditate, clear out a space in your home, spend more time outside, or simply notice what has been on your mind. There is no need to chase an experience or make every feeling mean something. Sometimes noticing is enough.

What Are You Ready to Put Down?

The trees offer a beautiful reminder each autumn: letting go can happen gradually. One leaf, then another.

October may invite you to consider what you have been carrying. Perhaps it’s a responsibility that was never yours, a habit that once helped but no longer does, or an expectation you are ready to question. You do not have to transform your entire life because the calendar says it’s fall.

You might begin with a smaller question: What am I ready to stop carrying?

The answer could look like setting a boundary, clearing a drawer, changing your mind, asking for help, or giving yourself permission to do less. Release does not always require a ceremony. Sometimes it begins with one ordinary choice.

From Libra to Scorpio Season

Astrologically, much of October falls within Libra season, with its familiar themes of balance, relationships, and harmony. It can be a useful time to ask where you feel supported, where you may be overextending yourself, and what brings a sense of peace to your everyday life.

Around October 22–23, the Sun moves into Scorpio season. Its symbolism draws our attention toward depth, truth, mystery, and change. The movement from Libra to Scorpio feels fitting for autumn: first we notice what is out of balance, then we become curious about what lies beneath it.

You do not need to follow astrology for those questions to be useful. What feels steady in your life right now? What needs your attention? What would you like to carry into the final months of the year?

October Correspondences

There are no universal rules for which colors, plants, crystals, or practices “belong” to October. Your own associations matter. If you enjoy working with seasonal correspondences, these are a few we connect with this time of year:

  • Chakras: Root, Solar Plexus, Third Eye

  • Colors: Orange, gold, black, violet, deep red, russet

  • Crystals: Amber, tiger’s eye, carnelian, black obsidian, smoky quartz, selenite, black tourmaline, white agate

  • Herbs and botanicals: Rosemary, clove, cinnamon, mugwort, garden sage, calendula

You might choose earthy colors or smoky quartz as a reminder to feel grounded. Violet tones or a quiet journaling practice may help you make space for intuition. Or perhaps October simply means lighting a candle and enjoying the changing leaves. Your practice can be meaningful without looking like anyone else’s.

What Becca Is Sensing for October 2026

The reflections above are seasonal themes. The following impressions are what Becca has been receiving intuitively for this October, including guidance from her guide, Rø (pronounced “row”). As with any intuitive message, take what resonates and leave what does not. Your own experience, practical judgment, and choices come first.

Give Yourself Time to Absorb What You’ve Experienced

The strongest impression coming through is that many people are moving quickly from one realization to the next without giving themselves much time to sit with what they have already learned.

This might be a significant spiritual experience, a new understanding of an old pattern, or a small moment when something suddenly clicks. You may notice that a practice feels different than it did a few months ago, or that you have changed in ways you are only beginning to recognize.

The guidance is simple: go slowly. Not every revelation needs an immediate follow-up. Before booking another reading, starting another course, or pulling twelve more cards to clarify the three you just pulled, consider spending a little time with what has already arrived. Journal about it. Return to your ordinary routines. See what still feels true after a few days.

Spiritual growth is not a race to collect information. Sometimes understanding develops in the space afterward.

Abundance and Receiving

There is also a warm sense of abundance around October. This is not a promise of a financial windfall. The impression feels more like return: noticing that something you have put time and care into may finally be creating movement.

For some, that may relate to work or money. For others, it could be support, connection, an opportunity, or simply having enough of something that once felt scarce. There is a particular feeling of receiving after a period that has seemed unfair or out of balance.

We are leaving room for this to mean different things to different people. October feels lucky to Becca. Take that however you will.

Our Animals May Feel the Season, Too

Becca has also been sensing a gentle theme around animals and the companionship they offer through times of change.

Many of us have seen our pets respond to a shift in routine, weather, or the mood at home. This month, the invitation is simply to pay attention and make room for connection. Spend a little extra time together. Notice what helps them feel comfortable. Enjoy their company as you move through your own changing season.

If an animal seems unwell or behaves in a way that concerns you, contact a qualified veterinarian. Intuition can prompt us to notice something; veterinary care is how we address a medical concern.

Perhaps the message here is a simple one: we do not always move through change alone. Sometimes the beings who love us are right beside us.

Your Invitation for October

You do not need to make October profound. You do not need to have a spiritual awakening, perform the perfect ritual, or transform yourself before November.

You can participate in the season as you are. Notice the trees. Make something warm to drink. Take a walk. Pull an oracle card if you enjoy it. Ask yourself what you are ready to put down and what you hope to carry forward.

And if you sense that something in your life is changing, you do not have to understand it all at once. Sometimes the leaves begin changing before we notice.

Sometimes intuition works that way, too. We feel it first.
