An Apothecary’s Guide to the Energy of November 2026
An invitation to reclaim your energy, make room for yourself, and find a little magic in the moments between.

To our fellow autumn lovers: November has arrived, and the world outside is still putting on quite a show.
Here on the East Coast, the trees are dressed in their final shades of gold, rust, amber, and burgundy. The air is cooler, the evenings arrive earlier, and there’s something wonderfully comforting about reaching for a favorite cardigan and settling into the season.
As I sit with the energy of November 2026, the clearest message coming through is this: make room for yourself before the season becomes busier.
I feel October’s themes of shedding, transformation, ancestral connection, and intuition carrying into the beginning of November. But the emphasis is shifting. After considering what we are ready to release, we have an opportunity to ask what we want to do with the space that remains.
Within many contemporary spiritual practices, this season is associated with the “thinning of the veil” between the physical and spiritual worlds. At East Coast Apothecary, we often experience that seasonal sensitivity extending into November, gradually settling as the month progresses.
Perhaps November offers us a chance to consider what deserves to accompany us into the next chapter—and how we want to care for ourselves along the way.
From Release to Liberation
There is a difference between knowing something needs to change and experiencing the freedom that comes after making that change.
Throughout October, you may have found yourself examining relationships, responsibilities, beliefs, or habits with a little more honesty. Perhaps something that once felt comfortable began to feel restrictive. Or perhaps nothing dramatic happened. You simply noticed the small ways you have been carrying more than you need to.
November invites us to do something with those observations through small, intentional adjustments.
An image keeps coming to mind as I sit with this month’s energy: energetic shackles beginning to loosen. For those navigating heaviness, uncertainty, or emotional exhaustion, the impression is one of gradual liberation. A little more breathing room. A realization that something you believed was permanent may be changeable.
Perhaps, somewhere along the way, you’ll discover the skeleton key you’ve been looking for as you begin to recognize which doors are yours to open.
Finding the Cracks in the Sidewalk
Another image I associate with November is the familiar sidewalk we walk every day.
Imagine traveling the same path over and over. You know the turns and how long the journey takes. But one day, you notice a crack you’ve been stepping over for years. It may have been there all along. You are simply seeing it differently.
Some of the patterns we have been reflecting on may have been with us for years. Awareness changes our relationship with them. Once we recognize where the cracks are, we have choices.
We can repair something, take a different route, or slow down and step around it. We can also decide that the path still serves us, even with its imperfections.
This feels particularly fitting during Scorpio season, with its symbolism of depth, truth, and looking beneath appearances. And Scorpio, bless its heart, isn’t particularly interested in pretending everything is fine just because it looks fine from the outside.
However, emotional intensity and clarity are not always the same thing.
Give yourself time before making a lasting decision in a temporary moment of overwhelm. You can acknowledge what you have discovered without needing to resolve it immediately.
The Astrology of November 2026
November 9 — New Moon in Scorpio
November’s New Moon arrives in Scorpio, offering a symbolic opportunity for reflection, intention-setting, and personal renewal.
In astrology, New Moons are associated with beginnings, while Scorpio invites us beneath the surface. Together, these themes offer useful questions:
Where am I investing my energy, and what am I receiving in return?
Which familiar stories about myself am I ready to question?
Am I offering myself the patience and compassion I extend to others?
This may be a meaningful time to set intentions around boundaries, self-trust, and reclaiming your sense of choice.
Butterflies are not hurried out of their cocoons. Tulips do not check their timepieces. Perhaps we could offer ourselves the same courtesy.
November 22 — Sagittarius Season Begins
As the Sun moves into Sagittarius, the astrological symbolism shifts toward curiosity, exploration, optimism, and possibility.
After Scorpio’s introspection, Sagittarius invites us to lift our gaze toward the horizon. You may find yourself interested in a book, a class, a conversation, or a perspective you had not previously considered.
After examining what we have outgrown, that openness can feel refreshing. We do not need to know exactly where every road leads before allowing ourselves to explore.
Sometimes curiosity is enough to begin.
November 24 — Full Beaver Moon in Gemini
November’s Full Moon, commonly called the Beaver Moon, arrives in Gemini, a sign associated with communication, learning, and perspective.
This offers an invitation to consider how our understanding changes when we become willing to look at something differently.
Perhaps a conversation brings clarity. Perhaps new information emerges. Or perhaps an old story you have been telling yourself no longer feels entirely true.
Allow yourself to remain curious. Ask another question. Listen a little longer.
It may also be worth noticing what has grown throughout the year. Some of what you have been nurturing may only now be becoming visible. Take a moment to acknowledge that progress, however small.
Sometimes meaningful growth arrives as a tiny green shoot.
A Wider Perspective — The Controlled Burn
One of the more unusual intuitive impressions I received for November was the image of a controlled burn. I interpret this symbolically, rather than as a literal prediction.
The image brings to mind structures and ways of operating that may need to change: in our personal lives, workplaces, or communities. Something that once served a purpose may no longer support what is needed now.
The question I take from this is: what could renewal look like here?
That does not mean every disruption is beneficial or that we need to tear everything down. It is an invitation to consider what needs attention, what is worth preserving, and where we might make room for something more supportive.
November’s Spiritual Correspondences
If you enjoy welcoming the season into your spiritual practice, these are some associations I connect with November. Correspondences are symbolic tools, and your own associations and traditions matter.
Chakras: Root and Sacral
Colors: Orange, brown, rust, plum, burgundy, olive
Crystals: Tiger’s eye, topaz, citrine, black tourmaline, smoky quartz, garnet, pyrite
Herbs and botanicals: Cayenne, catnip, basil, saffron, nettle, rosemary
For grounding, you might feel drawn toward smoky quartz, earthy colors, or practices associated with the Root Chakra. For creativity, pleasure, and emotional expression, warm autumn colors and Sacral Chakra practices may feel meaningful. Citrine, pyrite, or tiger’s eye might serve as reminders of confidence and renewed motivation.
You can incorporate these associations into an altar, meditation, journaling practice, or seasonal arrangement. When using botanicals, consider their suitability for the intended use, allergies, and pets.
There is no requirement to purchase anything new. Sometimes the most meaningful seasonal ritual is made entirely from what you already have.
Intuitive Guidance for November 2026
Channeled from Becca’s guide, Rø, pronounced “row.”
The following guidance comes from my personal intuitive practice. As always, keep what resonates and leave the rest. Your own experience, practical judgment, and choices come first.
It’s Time to Schedule Yourself In
There is one message that has been coming through clearly for November. And, quite frankly, Rø has a way of getting straight to the point:
“You humans and the busy and bustling schedules. It’s time to schedule yourself in.”
Well. Fair enough.
The emphasis is on consistent, sustainable self-care: small practices that help create a little more space within us.
November feels like an opportunity to begin filling our own wells before winter arrives. Yet it is remarkably easy to treat caring for ourselves as something we will get around to once everything else is finished.
After the work. After the errands. After everyone else’s needs have been met. After the holidays.
Somehow, there is always something else waiting.
Rø’s message is a reminder that you also deserve a place on your own calendar. You do not need to earn rest by exhausting yourself first or reach a breaking point before making an adjustment.
A Little Hygge for the Soul
As I received this message, the Danish concept of hygge came to mind: coziness, warmth, togetherness, and enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures.
Considering Rø’s Scandinavian connection, I couldn’t help but smile at the reference.
For me, the invitation is to create moments in which we feel comfortable, connected, and present. A warm cup of tea. A nourishing meal. A conversation with someone who makes us laugh. A book we have been meaning to read. An evening with fewer obligations.
These moments may seem small, but they can become meaningful ways of caring for ourselves throughout the colder months.
When You Can’t Slow Down, Soften the Experience
Of course, November does not erase our responsibilities. Some of us have demanding jobs, families to care for, businesses to run, and schedules that cannot be rearranged overnight.
Rø’s guidance acknowledges that reality.
If you cannot immediately reduce the demands on your time, consider whether you can soften some of the experience around them.
That might mean:
Choosing softer lighting when possible.
Turning down background noise.
Taking a short break from screens.
Wearing clothing that feels comfortable.
Sitting down for a meal.
Stepping outside for a few minutes.
Leaving a little quiet between activities.
Checking in with someone you love.
Choose something that feels possible in the life you have today.
There is something supportive about consistently making room for comfort. Our well-being deserves attention, even on the days when the to-do list remains unfinished.
November’s Affirmation
“I take all things slowly and in stride, because the Universe is on my side.”
This was Rø’s closing message for the month. If it resonates, let it remind you that you are allowed to move at a pace that supports your well-being.
Closing Thoughts — The Beauty of Becoming
November feels like an invitation to reclaim our energy, acknowledge what we have learned, and make ourselves comfortable in the space we are creating.
Our lives are happening right now, even while there are errands to run and questions left unanswered.
As the final leaves fall, I hope you find opportunities to enjoy the ordinary. Make something warm. Spend time with people who make you feel at home. Notice where you have grown, and give yourself some room around what has not yet unfolded.
You do not have to rush toward the end of the year simply because the calendar is moving.
There is still beauty here: in the moments between, in a familiar cardigan, and in the possibility that, for today, you have already done enough.
From our little corner of the East Coast, wishing you a November filled with warmth, restoration, and a little everyday magic.
With love,
Becca and Christie 🍂
