Welcome to East Coast Apothecary. By accessing our website, booking a service, or participating in any session or offering, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
1. Introduction
East Coast Apothecary offers Reiki sessions, intuitive and mediumship readings, and related holistic services designed to support relaxation, self-awareness, emotional balance, and overall well-being. These services are complementary in nature and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.
2. Services Offered
We provide:

In-person Reiki sessions

Distance (remote) Reiki sessions

Intuitive and mediumship readings
Sessions may include light touch or be completely hands-off, depending on client preference and session format.
Distance (remote) services are conducted energetically during a live Zoom session and do not require the client to be physically present in the studio. A stable internet connection and the ability to join the Zoom session at the scheduled time are required.
All services are offered for spiritual, educational, and personal insight purposes only.
3. Booking & Payment
Booking
All appointments must be scheduled in advance through our online booking system or by direct arrangement when applicable. Booking an appointment reserves dedicated time set aside exclusively for you.
Payment
Payment may be made online at booking or in person at the time of your appointment. We accept major credit/debit cards and cash for in-person sessions. Cash payments must be for the exact amount, as we do not keep change on-site.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
We value both your time and ours. Because each session is reserved specifically for you, the following policies apply:

Cancellations: Appointments may be canceled up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time without penalty.

Rescheduling: Appointments may be rescheduled up to 12 hours prior to the session start time using the link in your confirmation email or by contacting us directly.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.

No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment — including not joining a scheduled Zoom session — will result in the full session fee being charged.
Missed appointments are not eligible for refunds or credits.
5. Health & Medical Disclaimer
Reiki, intuitive readings, and energy-based services are not medical treatments and do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. These services should never replace care from a licensed medical or mental health professional.
By booking a session, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
6. Confidentiality & Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. All personal information and session content are kept confidential and handled with care. Information will not be shared with third parties except where required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for additional details.
7. Results & Limitation of Liability
Results and experiences vary from person to person. No specific outcomes are guaranteed.
By participating in any service offered by East Coast Apothecary, you agree to release and hold harmless East Coast Apothecary, its owners, and practitioners from any liability related to your participation in sessions or services.
8. Client Responsibility
Clients agree to:

Provide accurate information regarding health concerns, sensitivities, or relevant conditions

Take responsibility for their personal choices and well-being
If you are currently under the care of a medical or mental health professional, we encourage you to consult them before booking a session.
9. Gift Cards & Special Services

All gift cards, distance services, and completed sessions are non-refundable.

Physical gift card pickup requires a scheduled appointment. Walk-in pickup is not available due to session scheduling.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, images, branding, logos, and designs, is the intellectual property of East Coast Apothecary and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.
11. Changes to These Terms
East Coast Apothecary reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
